Starting 2026 Gravel Weekend is part of the UCI Gravel World Series. It means that here you can qualify for UCI Gravel World Championships 2026, as well as the European Championships in both 2026 and 2027.
But Gravel Weekend is more than just a race. It’s a two-day celebration of gravel cycling, nature, and new connections. Fast-rolling gravel roads, punchy climbs, and tranquil forest paths you’ll talk about for months to come. Whether you want to race full gas, test your limits, or ride at your own pace, you’re welcome here.
Expect local food, cold drinks, fun competitions, and a post-race atmosphere that feels more like a festival than a finish line. Come for the gravel. Stay for the weekend. Leave with stories to tell and memories to cherish.

Tukums 140km and Erica Synths 75km are UCI Gravel World Series races. To qualify for the UCI Gravel World Championships rider may participate in Saturday race only.
OC1 Prologue is a warm up pre-race event and its result counts towards Gravel Weekend general classification (a sum of Prologue and Stage results). If the participant skips the Prologue, he will be assigned Prologue slowest finishers’ time. It won’t affect UCI-relevant result, but may affect their standing in Gravel Weekend classification. Only riders who participate both in Friday and Saturday stages will get a chance to win special prizes from our supporters, including Thule bike bag.
Tukums municipality is the gravel cycling capital of Latvia. A vast gravel road network, fast rolling terrain supplemented by more technical forest roads — without going too deep into MTB/XC territory.
Please keep in mind that traffic is not closed, even though race marshals will be present at key junctions and will regulate traffic, ensuring that participants can focus on racing. Ride on the right side of the road — a vehicle can be around the corner.
For the first time this season the gravel spirit was real! See you next year!

It was a super fun weekend, bringing together the exact thing that I love about gravel cycling: THE COMMUNITY
Ann-Christine Allik
I enjoyed racing in Latvia. Road was smooth and fast. The organisation was friendly and easy to interact. It's the spirit of gravel! The after event activities were a gamechanger!
Ndung'u Wa Kieya
It was an excellent event. It had everything I usually appreciate with a gravel race. The course was fast and was pure gravel.
I would love to come back next year!

I never come away from the race and the race wasn't the most memorable part. True festival!
